Description of Work:

The work consisted of the construction of Regional Juvenile Observation, Assessment and Evaluation Center. Phase I included three one-story housing units with mezzanines and one-story ancillary spaces including classrooms, administration and counseling. First floor area: 23,753 sq ft with approximately 5,300 sq ft of mezzanines. Structure is primarily precast concrete with a steel truss and joist roof system. Phase II was issued as a change order to the contract and consisted of approximately 17,000 sq ft, two-story female housing unit, indoor recreation facility, and office. The associated space was constructed of load bearing masonry, exterior brick veneer, light gauge metal trusses, and shingled roof.
