This historical renovation of an existing 3-Story 12,800 SF Ivy Building, a 1936 neoclassical building, and includes interior and exterior building work, and site work. The existing windows were retrofit with new glazing, cleaned, painted, and made operable. Brantley renovated the existing brick walls, repaired termite damaged wood, installed a new concealed grid acoustical ceilings. We restored the existing wood gymnasium floors and stage, including the custom hand-painted school mascot detail. New upfits in the bottom floor included offices, exam rooms, dining area and conference room. The exteriors sitework reworked the exterior grades to accommodate handicap accessibility and to waterproof the existing foundation walls.
