The work included re-grading of the entire Chosin Range to eliminate drainage problems, installation of new utility lines, the installation of a sprinkler system at the 50, 100, 200, 300 and 500 yard firing lines and the berm in front of the pit area, the installation of sodding and grassing. The replacement of the three wooden training sheds behind the 600 yard firing line, the replacement of existing asphalt concrete roadway, the repair of the existing asphalt concrete pavement, and the replacement of the existing male and female heads, target sheds and sound room behind the target pit area. The construction of a roadway in front of the 600 yard firing line, the re-grading of the berm in front of the target area to provide a 3;1 slope, the connection of berm separating Chosin Range and Hue City Range with the berm in front of the target pit area of Hue City Range, the replacement of all electrical, speaker, telephone and water lines from the existing firing lines, the replacement of all wooden poles and flag poles, the replacement of all wooden benches, the providing of all lighting for the target pit area, the construction of a new head at the 300 yard line in the berm between Starlite Range and Chosin Range and the other incidental related work.
