This new construction of a three-story, 39,370 SF building includes a bookstore, café/coffee shop, black-box theater, gathering spaces, lecture halls, classrooms, seminar rooms, faculty offices, restrooms and a connecting lobby to the existing Owen Theater Building. Site work includes new sidewalks, an exterior terrace/courtyard, parking lot, entryways and additional paving. Construction was ongoing throughout the school year, surrounded by an existing built environment, and is located on the corner of a busy intersection. Maintaining project security and circulating pedestrian/vehicular traffic was of utmost importance.
