US Air Force Building 162 Renovation
Location: | Charleston Air Force Base, SC |
Owner: | Department of the Air Force |
Contract Amount: | $2.2 Million |
Completion Date: | January 2003 |
Construction Time: | 10 Months |
This project involved the total renovation of the existing structure (only the shell remained) and inclusion of new additional space. As this project was identified as “mission critical to base operations”, situated on the “flight line”, and not subject to schedule slippage, it was accomplished under Brantley’s highest level of priority. A challenging roof truss system added to the overall aesthetics and client satisfaction on this high security facility.
