This is a new facility was built directly adjacent to the existing facility. The applicable standard definitive design functional requirements will be incorporated into the facility. This new facility will have an operations center, observation area, planning room, A/V control room, lobby, break room, storage, restrooms, mail room, SIPR Room and telecommunication room. The building will be conditioned using a four pipe VAV air handling unit system, with cooling coming from an air cooled chiller and heating coming from a boiler. All HVAC systems will be redundant.
Site development includes installation and relocation of water, sewer, gas, and electric utilities and communication lines; fire protection; paving, curbs and gutters; and antiterrorism measures. Site demolition included removal of pavements and sidewalks.
