Description of Work:

This project consisted of approximately 12,290 sq. ft. of new building and site work. The building was designed with state of the art emergency response equipment. The building also included living, administrative and fully equipped kitchen areas. Building structures composed of a composite pre-engineered metal building and structural steel skeleton with split face block veneer and architectural standing seam roof. The interior consisted of CMU walls, acoustical ceilings, VCT, carpet, ceramic tile, metal stud and drywall walls.

 

This station was awarded the “Nation’s Best Career Fire Station Design” award for 2004. Throughout the project, the Architect, Stewart-Cooper & Newell, commented on the high degree of professionalism that Brantley Construction Company employees maintained while working with the Owner to make this project a great success.
