This project consisted of HVAC, interior renovations and roof work for the existing 150-bed residence hall. In order to complete the project within the twelve-week time frame available between semesters, a carefully orchestrated schedule had to be drawn up and implemented. Work was divided into six phases, consisting of four groups of 24 dorm rooms and two areas of the kitchen/cafeteria.
Brantley turned over small areas of the building to the college as they were completed. Unforeseen delays only increased Brantley’s commitment to complete the project on schedule. From our framing, sheetrock and cleaning crews to our mechanical and electrical subcontractors, everyone put in long days and nights. This was a difficult project in terms of the time frame, however, with Brantley’s leadership and teamwork, it was brought in ahead of schedule and under budget.
