The 4,500 SF new building is adjacent to the northern-most wing. It consists of 2 Gateway to Technology (GTT) Classrooms, a Chorus Room, a practice room, support spaces, and bathrooms. Construction consists of spread footings, CMU foundations, and brick veneer over CMU walls. Interior finishes will match the existing MMS to include paint, wood doors, carpet, resilient tiles, and ACT ceiling systems. Traffic and pedestrian safety barriers are being constructed for active school term. Due to the active school term, proper traffic and pedestrian safety barriers were constructed for the constricting work areas. The building has exterior brick veneer matching the existing Moultrie Middle School. The interior flooring includes carpet, ceramic and resilient tiles complimentary of the school colors. Installations of millwork storage cabinets, acoustical ceilings, hard walls, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler, intrusion alarms, and EMS Safety system.
