This 19,000 square foot building of brick, precast, and stucco was built on a sloped site. Finish floor is on three levels which vary five feet in height. Glass walls provide natural light in the classrooms. This state of the art child care facility was built to provide child care for state and county employees and to provide child care training. There were no liquidated damages or disputes with this project. Any extra time on the project was due to 20,000 cubic yards of unsuitable soil removal and replacement, and the Owner added some extra work.
