South Macon Elementary School Addition

The addition of 9000 SF created space for 6 new classrooms to accommodate a growing school. It was constructed with a CMU structure and Steel decking including a walkthrough mezzanine for all HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing Equipment. The Existing school upgrades included replacing all of the existing HVAC Equipment units and installation of new HVAC Controls throughout the space. The existing storefronts at the cafeteria were removed and replaced with a much more secure HM Door and Frame assembly to provide additional security measures to the school. Sitework included grading for the addition, repairs to the existing track, and construction of a new child drop-off circle and pavement.
