The addition to and renovation of the existing Sun City EMS/Fire Facility located at 25 William Pope Drive, Sun City, SC. The work was divided into two phases: Phase I was the addition of a 2,534 sq ft East Wing, housing eight dorm rooms, bathroom facilities, gear room, laundry, exercise room, office, server room, janitor closet, and storage. Phase II was the renovation of the existing West Wing (1,910 sq ft) eliminating the current bunk rooms and increasing community room, kitchen and storage areas.

During the work the facility will remain operational, providing first response services to the local area. During Phase I, the existing West Wing continued normal operations and the work was primarily confined to the new construction on the east side of the facility. Once the new East Wing was complete, the occupants moved offices and bunk rooms to the new facility and Phase II began.
